Leadership Team:
Adam Mudrick
Founder, CTO
After more than a decade of leading successful data science teams and initiatives in corporate America, collaborating with some of the world's most recognizable brands, I gained valuable insights into the challenges large organizations face in maintaining agility and accountability amid complex structures. Drawing from this experience, I founded MUDRICK & ASSOCIATES to pioneer a more aligned and results oriented approach in data science consulting. By tying our compensation directly to the measurable value we deliver we foster a culture of ownership and continuous innovation. This structure ensures our team remains focused on high impact outcomes, enabling us to partner effectively with leaders in scaling efficient, AI driven solutions that drive long term success. We thrive on the drive to excel, believing that the pressure to drive real value inspires our most creative and effective work.
Adam lives in Upper Saint Clair with his beautiful wife and their four incredible kids. When Adam isn’t geeking out about data science, you can find him coaching and attending his kids sporting events, spending time with the church, serving on missions trips, or on a cross country adventure with his family.
Michael Patton
Co-Founder, COO
I bring over a decade of leadership, sales, and operations experience into my role as Chief Operating Officer (COO) at MUDRICK & ASSOCIATES. I began my career in the health sector where I became the youngest Director of Rehab in the Pittsburgh area for a $4B healthcare organization and successfully led my team through the unprecedented challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic all while delivering >10% profit margin increase. In 2021 I moved into technology consulting and staffing where I became very passionate about the innovation and the value creation that could be enabled through AI and machine learning. I am proud to play a foundational role in building an organization that lives out its core values. We aim to positively impact countless lives through this generational opportunity by consistently prioritizing the unique culture and context of our partners as we seek to build tremendous value through the latest in AI technology.

When I graduated with my degree, I thought I had it all figured out, but my first job quickly made me realize I was on the wrong path. I spent a year feeling stuck and unfulfilled, knowing I wanted to do something more meaningful and aligned with my passions. That’s when I found Mudrick & Associates.
Joining M&A as an AI/ML apprentice completely changed my life. In just eight months, I went from feeling lost to building real, end to end AI solutions that made a difference for clients. The team didn’t just teach me how to code or build models, they also taught me the business side of things, how to think like an entrepreneur, communicate value, and bridge the gap between technical solutions and real business impact.
That combination of technical and business skills helped me grow not only as a professional but also as a person. It gave me the confidence to take bold steps in my career, including starting my own company and landing a full time job in my area of interest, something I never imagined I could achieve before joining M&A.
Mudrick & Associates didn’t just teach me AI, they helped me unlock my potential and discover what I’m truly capable of, both in my career and in life.

Taylor Hutter is a master’s student in Biochemistry with a concentration in bioinformatics. She currently serves as a data science apprentice with MUDRICK & ASSOCIATES, where she is developing a strong foundation in computational strategies used to streamline and optimize bioinformatic workflows for genomic datasets. Her apprenticeship has provided extensive exposure to high-performance cloud computing, workflow automation, and reproducible pipeline design, all of which have strengthened her technical capabilities. This experience has driven substantial improvements in operational speed, enabling quicker analysis cycles and more efficient project execution while preserving analytical rigor. These skills have supported her ability to refine and structure her own computational approaches by improving workflow organization, enhancing processing efficiency, and applying data-driven optimization techniques. Taylor plans to expand her computational skill set by integrating machine learning and related quantitative methods to further advance large-scale biological data analysis.

Andrew is an AI/ML Engineer with a foundation in interaction design, systems thinking, and applied engineering. With training across architecture/engineering, HCI, and product design, his work focuses on bridging data, tooling, and human-centered decision-making rather than purely theoretical model development. At Mudrick & Associates, Andrew works closely with senior data scientists to translate business objectives into technical workflows, supporting data analysis, ML experimentation, and end-to-end analytics pipelines across cloud environments. His background in design enables him to approach data and AI problems from a product perspective - emphasizing clarity, usability, and real-world constraints alongside technical execution. Andrew is actively developing his skills in machine learning, statistical thinking, and production analytics while positioning himself as a full-stack practitioner who can operate across product, data, and engineering teams to deliver practical, impact-driven solutions.
