Fiduciary Data Scientist
Location: Remote / Flexible
Schedule: Flexible & Autonomous
Compensation: Hourly to start, with performance-based promotion to revenue share model
About Us
We are a niche, high-performance data science consulting firm operating with a fiduciary mindset — meaning we act in the absolute best interests of our clients, structuring engagements to align incentives and deliver measurable value. Our solutions span advanced analytics, AI/ML systems, automation, and strategic advisory, and we only succeed when our clients do.
Role Overview
We’re looking for an entrepreneurially minded Data Scientist who thrives in a high-autonomy environment, adapts quickly to diverse challenges, and has a passion for building impactful, measurable solutions. This role requires both technical depth and business acumen — you’ll be expected to own problems from discovery to production deployment, and continually expand your technical toolkit as new opportunities arise.
Our unique model rewards results, not just hours worked — starting hourly, with the opportunity to transition into a revenue-share compensation model for high-performing contributors.
Responsibilities
Work from guidance provided by the Data Science Lead to understand project requirements, translate business objectives into technical solutions, and execute deliverables to specification.
Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models, statistical analyses, and data pipelines tailored to each client’s unique objectives.
Build and automate end-to-end analytics workflows across cloud platforms.
Rapidly prototype and iterate on solutions while maintaining high-quality production code standards.
Communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Stay ahead of emerging tools, frameworks, and methodologies — applying them to deliver better, faster results.
Operate with a fiduciary mindset, ensuring client ROI is at the forefront of every decision.
Qualifications
Proven track record of delivering measurable business value from data science initiatives.
Proficiency in a broad range of tools & technologies (e.g., Python, SQL, TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Strong grounding in statistics, machine learning, and data engineering.
Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently, self-manage priorities, and take ownership of outcomes.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to bridge technical and business perspectives.
Comfort working in ambiguous, rapidly changing environments.
A continuous learner who embraces new challenges and technologies.
Compensation & Growth
Starting Pay: Hourly, based on experience.
Performance Path: High performers are transitioned into our revenue-share model, where earnings are tied directly to the measurable business impact you help create.
